Ingredients
1.0 kg Pumpkin

1.0 piece Onion
3.0 clove Garlic
3.0 tbsp Butter or Olive Oil
1.0 l Stock or Water
1.0 to taste Salt and Pepper
Instructions
Heat butter or oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add garlic and onion, brown until softened.
Add pumpkin cubes and sauté for 5 minutes.
Pour in stock or water, bring to a boil.
Simmer for 20 minutes until pumpkin is very soft.
Blend until smooth using an immersion blender or food processor.
Return to heat, bring to a boil again.
Blend once more for extra smoothness if desired.
Season with salt and pepper.
